H is a more rubbish letter than B.

I’m struggling today.

I had written a thing for H about a man named Henry, but on reflection I didn’t like it and have deleted it.

It was a two part story about a man named Henry who had a gun to his head. Beyond the first sentence I had no idea what was going to happen and I just kept writing.

I had done around four or five hundred words and posted it last night.

As I drifted off to sleep I realised that it just wasn’t good enough and I had no idea what so ever how to finish it.

So I got rid.

In retrospect, as I write this, I now realise that THIS post is no better.

If anything it’s worse. There is no suspense, no drama, no gun and so far, only a passing mention of the main character – Henry.

I’ve buggered up really. Maybe I will post “Henry” at some point in the alphabet, when it’s a bit more polished.

I don’t like to try too hard with posts (as you can tell!). I like to just type and see what happens. But today, for some reason, it’s all gone a bit wrong.

The Letter H is more rubbish than the letter B I think.

Sorry.

  1. Well I think you are doing fine Mr H, the fact you are trying to write about Henry rather than Mr H shows great modesty, and in your effort to remain a Modest Man (if I had not already finished M I would be thinking OOooooooo right now) Henry is not playing ball, much like your dog (HAH HAH AH HAH HAH HAH AHH AH Ahah ha hhahahaha ha ha), I think the best thing you can do if forget Henry and never mention his name again.

Igor his brother seems a much better bet, all that playing with insecticide in Ipswich sounds dead interesting....

    1. Modesty has nothing to do with it Rob.... I'm just too thick to come with something as obvious as that.... DAMN! hahahahaha

  2. Mr H, I read the original post about Henry and I wish that you had kept it up.
I was gripped by the end and really wanted to know what the secret was.
Hope you do re-post it at some point. :)

    1. Henry will make his mark in the world in one form or the other. As I said on your blog a few days ago, I have millions of half finished bits of work and never ever delete anything. you never know when it might come in handy.

    1. Yea, the flippin' idiot letter... What's it's problem. Half the time it's silent like in which and hello (!) it's so pretentious, like a hipster (what ever one of them is) or something.
Just realised that Which and Hello are two magazines.... there could be more to this than meets the eye.. hmmmmmm. <--- THERE IT IS AGAIN. It's now at the beggining of my thoughts... I'm outa here. eek! :)
